Day 1 down....5 to go!!!!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

WHEW! What a day....not the one we wanted, but the good news is tomorrow is a new day. It is times like these where I wish I was able to travel with Chris. Although we are not that lucky yet, maybe one day. It is in these hard times where I wish I was there to comfort him and to be with him. Tomorrow Chris will tee off at 10:00 Eastern time. Same deal with the scoring and everything! Pray that Chris' spirits will be lifted and that he will remain calm. Pray that he will be able to overcome the round today and be able to play his heart out tomorrow. I am a big believer in everything happens for a reason. For whatever reason, that was the best that Chris could do today. I am proud of him for not getting frustrated at all, just doing his humanly best. Golf can be such and up and down sport!!! Let's hope tomorrow will be an UP day!! The best news of all is that there are 5 more days, and a lot can happen in this game over 5 days! No matter the outcome, Chris will get status somewhere and we are grateful for that! Thanks so much for your uplifting messages and support. It is times like these where God continues to remind us how blessed we are by each of you! We remain grateful for another opportunity tomorrow, and whatever God intends for it to be, it will be!!!
