MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Chris and I would just like to wish each of you a very Merry Christamas! May God fill your hearts will all the love, peace, and joy that Christmas brings and may this new year be one filled with much love and blessings! I was actually talking on the phone with my mom earlier and we were just talking about all that has happened in 2009! What a great year! Chris and I could not be any happier and we just want to thank each of you for your wonderful support for our lives! Life would be very lonely without people who love us and care for us and we just truly appreciate all of you and that God has blessed us by you! As most of you know, Chris and I went to Antigua last week for our honeymoon! Check back soon for pictures! We took LOTS!!! We had a blast and feel very blessed to take the time out of our busy lives to spend a whole week with each other!! Thanks be to God for everything that we have been given. Last night in WPB!!!

I just wanted to post a few pics of our last night in WPB!! Chris and I got to go to dinner with Chris' agent, Alan, Mike, Scott and Jen Stallings, and Charlie Gibson, who was a groomsman in our wedding! It was a lot of fun!! We went to a GREAT restaurant called City Cellar. This was located in the "City Place." It is a really cool shopping center! You will notice that I am wearing sun dress with a Christmas tree behind us! I couldn't get used to seeing Christmas decorations in warm weather! Anyway, we had a blast!!! Here are some pics!!

A Note from Chris

First off, I just want to thank you so much for following us along this journey. It's been up and down all year but has been a blast. I could not be happier. A long year has come to an end, yet far short of success. I have taken a ton from my experiences and hope to learn all I can from it. Each and every day helps make me better. As I have completed all stages of qualifying school I have gained conditional status for the Nationwide Tour. I could be upset that I did not gain full status or a tour card for 2010 however what I have is better than I have ever had before. I look forward to what 2010 brings, good or bad. I still feel very confident in my game. This past week in West Palm Beach was a tough way to end 2009 but I really hit the ball very well. For some reason my putter let me down. I have putted well all year so I can't be disappointed. It's very nice to be home with Tracy as we prepare for the holidays. We leave on the 17th for Antigua. Finally getting to celebrate a honeymoon. Tracy and I cannot wait. It should be a blast.

I will most likely resume in January. I'm not quite sure of my schedule at this point but I will probably head to Florida for a short time to prepare for the upcoming events. The weather is so cold here in TN. Most likely I will try and play mostly the Nationwide Tour in 2010. Early on I might try and play some of the E Golf Tour, the tour I have played all of this year. Either way we will definitely keep everyone updated. 2010 should really be a great and challenging year ahead. I feel like the Nationwide Tour is where I belong at this point, even though we all want to go straight to the PGA. The Nationwide should be a great proving ground to move on.

Again I really appreciate every one's continued support and prayers. We are really blessed to have the family and friends we do. I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday season. God Bless! Thanks again!

Hello friends!! First of all, Chris and I want to thank God for the opportunity to have gotten to participate in 3rd stage this week. Although Chris did not finish near where he would have liked, we still remain blessed that we were even able to have a chance to do what over a thousand guys try for every year. I do want to say that I am so proud of Chris and all that he accomplished this week. All you have seen on the leaderboard is a number, but I am here to tell you that he played his heart out and several people following the group around were very impressed with his game. Chris and I have learned so much about what it means to be at the next level of this golf world, and I know that both of us feel very excited about what the future holds. Chris will have orientation for the Nationwide tour tomorrow, so we will know a little more then. He will definitely have conditional status on the Nationwide tour, but we are hoping that due to success early in the year, that he will better his position and get into more tournaments! This week has been long, very long. After Chris finished his 108th hole of the week, I looked at him and just told him, "We did it!" I think it felt like those marathon runners who run through that line just glad to finish!! Thank you all SO MUCH for your continued support. This year has been one of the best years we have had yet! Chris and I will continue to work hard and do what it takes to be successful, and with the support of each of you, I know we will get there. I tell Chris all the time, it is not a matter of if, but when!!! God's timing is perfect and we remain confident in His plan for our lives!! ALMOST THERE!!!!!

One word for today.....EXHAUSTION!! We are so tired, but hanging in there! Chris finished his 9 holes from yesterday and shot 3 under. At that point, the wind was calm and he played great!! Actually, he played AWESOME all day. This afternoon, he teed off at 12:30 for round 5, and he shot 2 over, which the scores were high for this afternoon!! Chris moved up a good bit, and and we are looking forward to finishing strong tomorrow!! Chris and I both have learned so much this week, and we just look so forward to what the future is going to bring. Chris has hit the ball so well this week, and I am just proud of what he is doing out there! I got to walk around with a PGA Tour player's wife, as Chris played with a guy who was 149 on the money list, but anyway, it was great to hear all about her life as a "Tour wife." We are keeping our heads held high!!! No matter the outcome of this week, the good news is Chris has status somewhere and he has gained much experience for the future! As one guy that followed our group said, "Chris has a bright future ahead!" Chris has the game and has the dedication that it takes, and we feel good about what God has in store for us!!! Thanks again to all of you following! We feel so incredibly blessed by the amount of people pulling for us and we greatly appreciate your continued support over the last few months. It doesn't stop here, there is a lot more golf to be played and we are just getting started!!! Check back tomorrow!! Chris is going to play his very best and make a run for it!!! 9 HOLES TODAY....27 TO GO TOMORROW!

Hello friends!! I must say....today might have been the longest day so far, and Chris only played 9 holes!!! WHEW!!! We got to the course at 8:30 so Chris could warm up. Tee times were delayed an hour, so he didn't tee off until 10:30. After playing 2 1/2 holes, the horn blew and we were called in for inclement weather. By looking at the radar, storms were brewing from the west coast, and we were delayed until 3:00. Honestly, they probably could have played as it only rained for about 30 minutes. The storms broke up before getting to WPB. Anyways, Chris is Even par after 9 holes. Still hitting it well, just WAITING PATIENTLY for the putts to fall!!! The wind definitely picked up this afternoon, but Chris is still playing like a CHAMP!!! We will be back out in the morning to start the last 9 at 7:45, and then Chris will play another 18. Not sure if they will stay in their same pairings. I don't want to complain about this week as we are grateful for the opportunity Chris has, but the weather has been MISERABLE for golf. We ended the day today in a cold drizzle, and the guys could not even see the golf ball when they were hitting. I am beginning to think I have brought the bad weather! UGH! Oh well, tomorrow's forecast looks decent!! We remain grateful for the golf that is left to play. Chris really is in GREAT spirits!! We feel so blessed that we are here. Despite everything that has happened this week, we still feel good about what is to come. Again, we could complain about the weather and everything that has been against us, but we continue to remain grateful to God for all the opportunities that have been given to us. Chris has represented himself and golf in a manner that is classy, and I am so proud to be his wife. I must brag a bit, but so many people love Chris and respect him so much for his kind spirit and his love for the game. I feel certain that Chris is going to go far with his golf career, especially being the kind gentleman that he is! His relationship with the Lord is so obvious, and God is doing great things for him through golf. Thank you all for the continued support. We are doing our best and letting God do the rest!!! HALFWAY THERE!!!

Hello everyone!!! We are halfway there!! I must say...today was a much better day and Chris' score did not do his playing justice! Chris is in great spirits and just WAITING PATIENTLY for the putts to fall. He hit 15 greens (I think that is right), and hit the ball in the fairway on most every hole! He is playing like a champ, just not getting the results he should. He did get to talk to his instructor earlier on the phone, and told him everything that was going on, and all he told Chris to do was just to stay patient, have fun, and the putts will start to fall! I am here to tell you all that Chris is doing his humanly best!! I am extremely proud of his attitude and demeanor. He truly represents how a professional golfer should act on the golf course. He does not throw a fit when putts don't fall like he wants them to, he just looks up and smiles at me and I smile back at him! I could cry for him when I see that he is doing all he can and it is just not going his way, but I do know that he is doing all he can and God is in charge of the rest!!! We rest assured that He has a plan for our lives and we continue to remain grateful for the opportunity that we are here!! I actually got to talk to the scorer guy today (PS...he messed up Chris' score, but since I had seen it on the phone, I gently corrected him so all of you wouldn't freak out!) :)....but anyway, he talked about what a great player Chris was, they just wouldn't fall for him today!! Sorry to ramble....I am just bragging! Anyway, I guess the point I want to make here is that we could complain about being in the position we are, we could get mad and slam clubs on the ground for situations that we want to happen but don't, but we don't. Chris and I choose to glorify God in this journey and we remain thankful to Him that we are actually here and that Chris has a chance to do his best all for His glory!! There are 3 days left, 3 days to make a charge to move up that leaderboard, 3 days to glorify God in all that He wants us to do!!! Thank you for all the texts, calls, emails, and facebook messages!! Keep them coming!!! We need them in times like these!!! Thanks for the prayers and support. We are in GREAT spirits and feel blessed each day!!! THANK YOU!!!! Much love from WPB!!!

Hello all! Chris had another rough day out there, but we remain grateful to God for this opportunity and that there are 4 days left!! I just arrived in West Palm Beach, so I feel blessed that I have the opportunity to be down here with Chris. We are trying to stay positive and we believe that God has great plans ahead no matter what. Pray that Chris will overcome any hard thoughts or feelings that he is facing this week! By the way....yesterday the winds were blowing 30 MPH...not sure if I put that in the last post. Ok, well other than that, not much to report. We just remain so grateful for all of your prayers and support! Just keep praying!! Chris is doing his humanly best, God is doing the rest!! His will for our lives is all we can ask for!!!! Day 1 down....5 to go!!!!

WHEW! What a day....not the one we wanted, but the good news is tomorrow is a new day. It is times like these where I wish I was able to travel with Chris. Although we are not that lucky yet, maybe one day. It is in these hard times where I wish I was there to comfort him and to be with him. Tomorrow Chris will tee off at 10:00 Eastern time. Same deal with the scoring and everything! Pray that Chris' spirits will be lifted and that he will remain calm. Pray that he will be able to overcome the round today and be able to play his heart out tomorrow. I am a big believer in everything happens for a reason. For whatever reason, that was the best that Chris could do today. I am proud of him for not getting frustrated at all, just doing his humanly best. Golf can be such and up and down sport!!! Let's hope tomorrow will be an UP day!! The best news of all is that there are 5 more days, and a lot can happen in this game over 5 days! No matter the outcome, Chris will get status somewhere and we are grateful for that! Thanks so much for your uplifting messages and support. It is times like these where God continues to remind us how blessed we are by each of you! We remain grateful for another opportunity tomorrow, and whatever God intends for it to be, it will be!!! GOD HAS CONTROL!

Today was a busy, but great day! I got a lot done here in Nashville so that I can leave town for a few days, and Chris had yet another AWESOME day of practice. When I talked to Chris, I asked him what he would like for me to post. He loves the fact that I just write on here to keep everyone informed, but I wanted to let him speak for himself as he is about to begin one of the biggest weeks in his career thus far. He wanted me to tell everyone that he has had great practice rounds, and he is READY!!! One thing he did say was, "I have prepared and now it is out of my hands, God is in control." I decided to post this verse, one of my FAVORITES! It is very appropriate to say that Chris and I feel blessed with what God has provided to us so far, and we look forward to what His plans for our future entail. We KNOW that God has plans for us to prosper, and we KNOW that there is HOPE in our future. The most important thing for us is that we have God and through God we have each other, and each of you, our family and friends. So here we are, the night before the Final Round, the round that will determine so much. We are excited, anxious, thrilled, but most importantly blessed. Blessed that God is so good, blessed that He is in control, blessed that He is willing to make our burdens light, blessed that He loves us no matter the outcome. We sit here and wait patiently for His plans for the next year to be revealed. Please pray that Chris will remain confident and that he will have a calm heart these next 6 days. Pray that he will continue to glorify God through his golf game and that he will give it his humanly best. All Chris can do is his best, God will take care of the rest. He never gives us too much to handle! Thanks to each of you for faithfully reading! One of Chris' friends said "Chris, you keep playing, we will keep praying!" I loved that!! How true!!! Chris tees off at 8:47 Eastern time on the Links Course. We are assuming it would be Live Scoring, so check early and often!!!
